CANCELLED – Das Weinen (Das Wähnen)

by Christoph Marthaler

In the late 1980s, Dieter Roth gave two special editions of his texts to Christoph Marthaler. The latter thenceforth moved from city to city, and excerpts from these texts would keep appearing in Marthaler's productions – above all a poem about a so called ‘fattened calf’. Now, almost 30 years later, we are witnessing the first highly public encounter between Roth and Marthaler. Two Swiss anomalies who have a lot in common, although they have not often crossed paths.

CANCELLED – Pièce sans acteur(s)

by 2b Company

François Gremaud and Victor Lenoble will be performing a piece based entirely on a dialogue between… two loudspeakers. The absence of human beings on stage is obviously not an end in itself, but rather a way of questioning their disappearance through the absurd.

CANCELLED – Nothing Left

by Tabea Martin

How do we deal with other people’s death? What thoughts and feelings do we have after such a loss? And how does our body react to it? Often, death leaves us speechless. “Nothing Left” explores the impact that the death of others has on us. Tabea Martin’s choreography opens up a new level of communication for the inexpressible.

Real Time

by Cie Gilles Jobin

Real Time promises a new experience during which the movements of two dancers will be captured before the eyes of the audience and broadcast in real time on different screens. Passed through the filter of digitalisation, the dancers’ bodies multiply and metamorphose into avatars or abstract forms. Motion capture merges stage reality and the virtual sphere.
