Theatertreffen Berlin 2019

Each May, the Theatertreffen selects ten remarkable productions from major German-speaking theatres and presents them during the festival in Berlin. The 2019 selection includes «Girl from the Fog Machine Factory» by Thom Luz, «Tartuffe» by Theater Basel and «Hotel Strindberg» by Burgtheater Wien/Theater Basel.

Swiss Theater Encounter 2019

The sixth edition of the Swiss Theatre Festival will take place in Valais in partnership with the Federal Office of Culture, which will present the Swiss Theatre Awards at the event. This year’s selection includes shows by Theater Chur, 2b Company, Gardi Hutter, Konzert Theater Bern and Theater Neumarkt.

Swiss Theatre Awards 2019

The Federal Office of Culture has been presenting the Swiss Theatre Awards every year since 2014. The Awards, including the Hans-Reinhart-Ring, are awarded as part of the Swiss Theater Encounter, during which seven outstanding Swiss theatre productions can be seen.
