Manaka Empowerment Prod. was founded in 2014 in Berne (CH) by Ntando Cele, Simon Ho and Raphael Urweider. Their interdisciplinary work questions identities, confronts prejudices and tries to unearth stereotypes. Knowing that a multicultural society does not necessarily mean intercultural understanding, Cele and her company address what lies underneath race and racism and strive to create a global experience, exploring black and white identity and prejudice from different perspectives. Always with humour, charm and exuberance.
