Junges theater basel produces two theatre pieces each year with, as its name suggests, young actors. The productions take place both in their own theatre and as guests in different venues in Switzerland and abroad. Their focus on contemporary issues relevant to young people requires a constantly changing approach, so that post-dramatic works alternate with dance theatre and text-based theatre. 2014 the company received the Swiss Theatre Award.
