CocoonDance company is based at the Théâtre du Crochetan in Monthey as well as at the Theater im Ballsaal in Bonn. The works of the recent years are characterized by the wide-reaching body research on the ͵unthought body’ and the glossary work and MoveApp that grew out of it. Since 2000 around forty productions have been created and performed on five continents. CocoonDance was invited to the Tanzplattform Deutschland in 2018 and 2020. Beaver Dam Company is a contemporary dance company founded by choreographer Edouard Hue. The concept of “sensitive virtuosity” best represents his choreographic approach. Pure, concise movement that flows with agile dynamism, all the while allowing palpable emotions to emerge. The company also has been bringing its work to other companies for several years. Teresa Vittucci is a Vienna born, Zurich based dancer and performer. Since 2013 she has been developing a solo performance practice.
Jeremy Nedd is a Brooklyn born, Basel based choreographer, director and performer. The content of his work focuses on race, gender and socio-economic status.
Cie Moost is a cross-disciplinary performing art company in the field of dance and circus.
With her company Scarlett’s, the Geneva-based dancer/performer/musician Ruth Childs develops her own work through dance, performance, film and music.
Rudi van der Merwe is based in Geneva and has been active as a choreographer since 2010, creating a series of distinctive multi-disciplinary works.
Dance pieces for children were recently added to the company’s multi-faceted repertoire. Its productions enjoy great popularity at home and abroad.
