Cie Circoncentrique was founded by Alessandro Maida and Maxime Pythoud, who met during their training at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels (ESAC). Fascinated by independence and DIY solutions, they created their first show «Respire» in 2012, which has since then been performed around the world more than 300 times.
