The interdisciplinary Festival Actoral in Marseille is dedicated to authors and texts in the widest sense, presenting literature, performing and visual arts, music and other artistic formats. Following up on a successful Swiss focus two years ago, four Swiss artists will be featured this year.
Body-Update and Future-Walk
The biennial festival Treibstoff in Basel offers up-and-coming young theatre and performance professionals from the German-speaking world a platform for their new productions. Since 2015, productions have been given in a variety of city sites in addition to shows in traditional theatres.
Rimini around the world
Rimini Protokoll is one of the most popular German-speaking theatre collectives, consisting of Daniel Wetzel, Helgard Kim Haug and the Swiss Stefan Kaegi. They are responsible for both individual creations and group productions, which are very much in demand internationally. Stefan Kaegi is currently on the road with several productions worldwide.
